In its role as a House of Study, we offer a variety of educational opportunities for adults, which include: Scholars-in-Residence, Brotherhood sponsored breakfast speakers, Shabbat and holiday centered programs and discussions, Torah study, Sunday morning adult education series, adult B’nai Mitzvah, our themed summer program, and the community’s Institute of Adult Jewish Studies.

The Institute of Adult Jewish Studies is sponsored jointly by Temple Israel, Congregation B’nai Emunah, the Jewish Federation of Tulsa, and the Tulsa Jewish Community Center. The Institute takes place on Monday evenings in two six-week semesters, one in the fall and one in the winter. Click here for the Fall 2016 Adult Education Brochure. Classes begin on Monday, November 7 and are offered through Monday, December 12. All classes will take place at the Charles Schusterman Jewish Community Center.
