Temple Israel was founded in 1914 and currently has a membership of approximately 500 family units. We are a Reform Congregation affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), our national organization of Reform Judaism.

Our synagogue embodies the ritual warmth and ceremonial beauty of our Jewish tradition while serving as the center for worship services, life-cycle events, education, activities and meetings for congregants of all ages. Temple Israel is truly our House of Worship, Study and Assembly.
We extend a warm invitation to join us for services any Friday evening. Our distinctive building with the Ten Commandments sculpted on the front is located on 22nd Place just south of the Utica Square Shopping Center. We look forward to meeting you!
