Mitzvah Day

Who we do it for and why:
One spring Sunday a year members of Temple Israel and B'nai Emunah come together to spend a few hours donating their time and skills to help others in Tulsa's general community. Our projects have included St. Francis Hospice, the SPCA, Schusterman Parent-Child Center,Family and Children's Services, Tulsa Community Action Project, American Cancer Society, Tulsa Community Food Bank and Tulsa Jewish Retirement Center and other similar organizations.

We need:
Volunteers who are willing to spend a few hours working with community
organizations.

No special skills are needed. We have projects that will appeal to all ages and area of interest.

Time commitment:
Sunday, April 1, 2001 - 2 to 4 hours.
