Every week our community gathers for joyful worship as we celebrate Shabbat together. All are welcome at Shabbat Services. Childcare is available if needed. Please check the weekly schedule of service times. We hope you will join us.

Shabbat Shuvah Service | 7:30 p.m.
Come participate in our service as we welcome Shabbat. A sweet Oneg will follow the service. Stay and schmooze with friends.


Saturday, October 5
Shabbat Morning Service w/Torah | 10:30 a.m.
If you prefer Saturday morning Shabbat services or want another opportunity to worship with friends, our monthly Shabbat morning services are for you. Join us for this Shabbat morning participatory prayer and Torah study. To cap the morning, there will be a potluck lunch. Be sure to bring your favorite recipes to share with your fellow worshipers if you are able.

Tashlich at The Gathering Place: Peggy’s Pond by the Lodge | 2:00 p.m.
We will meet at Peggy’s Pond by the Lodge, to cast our symbolic transgressions into the water as we reflect upon how we may be better in the coming year. Join in the warmth of community as we usher in the New Year with personal reflection and song. Click on the link below for a map of The Gathering Place. This year we are not using breadcrumbs, please do not bring bread.

Tuesday, October 8
Kol Nidre | 7:30 p.m.
Following  your Yom Kippur dinner, join us to hear a beautiful rendition of the Kol Nidre prayer by Cantor Laurie Weinstein, as we continue our Days of Awe with the evening of Yom Kippur.  

Wednesday, October 9
Yom Kippur Morning Service | 10:30 a.m.
Return to worship as we continue our Yom Kippur worship service. Join in for study at 1:30 p.m. and music and meditation at 2:30 p.m. We conclude Yom Kippur with our afternoon service at 3:30 p.m., followed by Yizkor and Neilah.

Wednesday, October 9
Break Fast | 6:00 p.m.
Make your plans now for Break Fast, following Neilah and the final Shofar blast. With gratitude to the Sharna and Irvin Frank Foundation, Sisterhood is planning a delicious and complimentary Break the Fast with a full meal; there is no need to rush home to prepare!  Stay and be part of the Temple Family. Friday, October 11
Tot Shabbat | 6:00 p.m.
Join us as we turn our youth lounge into sacred space for our young families with songs, prayers, and a story with our short monthly Tot Shabbat Service. Stay for pizza dinner following the service. Dinner is complimentary thanks to the Rabbi Weinstein's Discretionary Fund. RSVP by Tuesday, October 8, so we have an accurate count for food.

Sunday, October 13
Temple Israel’s ShalomFest Sukkah Build and Lawn Party  | 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
With a new vision for Temple Israel’s ShalomFest, we will welcome the public to help decorate our sukkah with family-friendly activities and all sorts of lawn games. Temple Israel’s Sisterhood Judaica Shop will be open for all your Jewish shopping needs.  Temple Israel’s Clergy Team will provide engaging learning opportunities in the sanctuary.

Picnic Dinner in the Sukkah/Erev Sukkot Service  | 5:00 p.m.
Dinner in the Sukkah!  We will join together as one community to celebrate the beginning of our harvest festival. Bring your own favorite picnic dinner to enjoy. We will continue our celebration with our Erev Sukkot service under the stars.


Friday, October 18
Z’amru L’Shabbat Service | 6:00 p.m.
Our musical Shabbat service with Cantor Weinstein and “Elijah and the Minor Prophets” will take place in our Sukkah. A delicious catered congregational dinner will follow the service. RSVP for dinner to by Tuesday, October 15.

Sunday, October 20
Festive Dinner in the Sukkah/Consecration & Simchat Torah Celebration | 5:30 p.m./6:15 p.m.
We will join together as one community to see the close of our harvest festival.  We will then make our way into the sanctuary as we roll back the Torah to start anew, and bless our newest religious school students.

Cantor Laurie Weinstein Installation Service w/Torah & Band followed by a Festive Oneg | 7:30 p.m.
