Temple Israel Brotherhood is the “service arm” of our Temple. The men of Brotherhood provide many services for our congregation, from High Holyday ushering to sponsoring picnics for the Religious School students and their families. Brotherhood projects include an annual blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross, interfaith activities, and numerous Sunday breakfasts where guest speakers with cultural, religious, or civic messages educate and entertain the Temple community. All men who are members of the Temple are eligible for membership.
The Brotherhood is affiliated with the Men of Reform Judaism (MRJ), an auxiliary of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations. Brotherhood is also a sponsor of the Jewish Chautauqua Society.
