Chavurah

JOIN A CHAVURAH!!!

What? Chavurah comes from the Hebrew word chaver, meaning friend.  Temple Israel is hoping to connect groups of 10-20 members who would love to engage themselves with socializing, learning, celebrating simchas and Holidays, eating out, participating in Temple events and much more.

When? Each chavurah meets regularly and on its own terms.  This could be once a month or every other month.  The consistency of gathering together creates within the group a greater sense of community within itself.

Where? Each chavurah can meet on their groups desired purpose: restaurants, museums, concert venues, or rotating at each other’s homes.

Why? By creating and encouraging other congregants to join, we can build an even stronger congregation.  Currently, we have 4 chavurot within the Temple – one that has flourished for over 30 years!

How Much? Free!  What better way to spend an evening than with a group of friends enjoying a common interest.  We invite you to become part of a chavurah!
