SISTERHOOD

As members of Women of Reform Judaism, our Sisterhood is an integral part of our Temple.

Sisterhood provides an organization where all can work together for religious, educational, and community concerns. Each member has an opportunity to participate in meaningful projects and volunteer opportunities. Sisterhood contacts have often become the basis for lasting friendships.

Temple Israel Sisterhood is affiliated with Women of Reform Judaism and invites you to join us for only $44 per year and become a member of an international network of over 100,000 members. New members to Temple Israel are extended a complimentary one-year membership to Sisterhood.

Sisterhood members serve our Temple Israel community with their time, talent and treasures. Sisterhood members are a vital part of our congregation and host monthly programs, provide assistance to Shorashim (religious school), run the Judaica Shop, provide Shabbat onegs and help celebrate holidays and milestones in our Temple Israel family.

Whether you are single or married, with or without children, born Jewish, a Jew by Choice, or married to someone who is Jewish… Without you we are one woman short. We invite YOU to join us!
